Philadelphia Eagles vs New England Patriots
U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota

Super Bowl LII will have the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles meeting for the second time in the Super Bowl. The two teams last played in 2015 with Philadelphia taking a 35-28 win at Gillette Stadium on Dec. 6, 2015.

Oddsmakers currently have the New England Patriots listed as -4½ point favorite, with the total at 48½.

The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles have played each other 13 times in dating back to 1973. The Eagles lead the all-time head-to-head series 7–6.

The Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be playing in his eighth Super Bowl and is one of only two players to win five Super Bowls and the only player to win them all playing for one team. The Patriots and Brady will try to win their third title in four years.

The Eagles are looking for its first Super Bowl title. Philadelphia came up short in 2004 against the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX. The Eagles will have replacement quarterback Nick Foles since regular starter Carson Wentz suffered a season-ending knee injury in December. Foles has never played in the Super Bowl and has only played three playoff games in his career.

New England:
Current Streak: won 5 straight games.
New England is 6-1 ATS in its last 7 games at home
New England is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games at home
The total has gone OVER in 8 of New England's last 12 games at home
New England is 10-2 ATS in its last 12 games
New England is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games

New England is 2-7 ATS in its last 9 meetings
Underdog is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.
Road team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
Over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.

Last contest: New England was a 24-20 winner as they battled the Jaguars in Foxborough. The Patriots failed to cover in the match as a -8-point favorite, while 44 combined points moved the game UNDER for totals bettors.

Last contest: Philadelphia was a 38-7 winner in their most recent outing at home against the Vikings. They covered the +3-point spread as underdogs, while the total score (45) made winners of OVER bettors.

Weather: Played in Dome (U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota)

The Eagles have been one of the best teams in the NFL and their backup quarterback Nick Foles has played very good in the postseason. Look for Philly’s pass rush to pressure Tom Brady persistently, but I can't believe they will rattle Brady and I can't see backup Foles beating Brady.

Prediction: New England 28, Philadelphia 21
