2014 BCS Championship Predictions
The 2014 BCS Championship, which will be in Pasadena, California, has a lot of intrigue and mystery as college fans around the nation begin to wonder which team will win, let alone get to the big game. Indeed, there are a number of fantastic teams that could reach the dance in 2014. Possible teams include Oklahoma, USC, Georgia and Oregon. Here is the two teams that are most likely teams to make it into BCS Champion.
A great way to start is by featuring the team that won it last year, which is the Alabama Crimson Tide. Over the years in Tuscaloosa, head coach Nick Saban always has his team playing great football and this year should be no different. Although the Tide plays against tough teams such as Ole Miss, Arkansas and Auburn, they should prevail. Even though the team lost notable players such as running back Eddie Lacy, the Crimson Tide still have top linebacker C.J. Mosley to lead the defense as well as quarterback and Mobile native A.J. McCarron. Although the team has a new offensive coordinator, who is also the quarterbacks coach, expect the Tide to “Roll Tide Roll” into another BSC Championship game.
Facing the mighty Crimson Tide for the 2014 BCS Championship is Ohio State University. The Buckeyes, which has overcome the 2010 memorabilia, tattoo and Jim Tressel debacle, has head coach Urban Meyer to thank after leading the team to a perfect record by going 12-0. Although the Buckeyes were not bowl eligible due to sanctions that were imposed on them, the team is ready to get back to the BSC Championship this year. Competition includes Northwestern, Penn State and Michigan. Although Ohio State lost seniors and three players to the NFL draft, the future year looks terrific. Returning to the team is John Simon, who is known to some as the “heart and soul” of the defense and was named the defensive player of the year by the Big Ten. Braxton Miller, who is the team’s quarterback, is poised for a Heisman Trophy year and has an assortment of weapons around him.
The BCS Championship Game of 2014 should be one to remember for years to come. Two great coaches, quarterbacks and teams will make it a great fight. Ohio State is back in the Game, but will not roll against the Tide, which has the moxy it takes to win.
