The Trojans make their first trip to Salt Lake City in 95 years to face off against Utah Utes. U-S-C has won seven of the last eight meetings and holds a 7-3 advantage in the all-time series, including a 23-14 win last year in the Coliseum.
Early in the season, USC was talked about as a potential National Champion. Since losing to Stanford, that conversation has faded considerably. In the game versus Stanford, it was obvious that USC was feeling the pressure because they had lost to Stanford so many times in the past. USC is better than they played in that game, but they’re not at a National Champion level as many still believe. They will win this game against Utah, but it won’t be a blowout.
